We've been there twice, once for lunch and for dinner. Great sized portions, good food, and great service. The pastas, pizzas, and cheesecake are great!
Italian Express is our go to for local pizza / food delivery. They are fast, courteous and most important the food is delicious. The delivery man is typically the same man and he’s friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious! Slight hiccup with getting home with a pepperoni pizza instead of plain cheese, but staff was attentive and super quick to correct. Been a loyal customer since 2005!

Pizza is good but delivery could be improved. I live only 5 minutes away, but it consistently takes the restaurant’s drivers more than 45 minutes to get here, and the pizza is usually either room temperature or lukewarm, so I have to heat it up in the oven before eating. I keep ordering from them because I like the pizza. Just wish the pizza was hot.
I used to visit all the time prior to Covid, but then time got away from you. Stopped back in the other day, and funny enough, it felt like going home. Simple but tasty menu, caught up with the owner and shared a smile and conversation. If you are into supporting small businesses, please stop in and say hello. You won't be disappointed.

From the lunch specials to the rest of their menu, everything is freshly made as you watch. Family owned and operated for over 25+ years with a wide variety of, Italian dishes, sandwiches and pizza. Simply a great experience with a warm friendly staff. Parking in front lot shared with other stores but ample. Dine in or take-out, We've been back since our first visit and it's now on our list of favorites. Clean, Fresh, Friendly, Variety, a true familia business. Our Pick of the year 2023!!!

I buy pizza here for my family every other week. It can be a bit expensive, but it's worth it to make my family happy. The Jumbo size is the perfect balance between a getting a bigger pizza without getting too much grease. I absolutely love their crispy bacon bits!

Surprisingly good. All 3 of our pasta dishes: lasagna, shrimp scampi, fettuccine Alfredo were delicious. The salad was fresh and good. The garlic bread was a little plain but still tasty (the bread was like a hot dog bun, really soft). We'll definitely go back and try more stuff.

The pizza was delicious. Got the 20" pizza. Half BBQ chicken, half pepperoni. The crust was perfectly thin. Perfect crust to pie ratio. Adequate sauce, and just the right amount of meats. However I personally would've liked my pie to have a little more cheese, an just I tiny bit more veggies. But that's just me. I'm a bit of a pizza connoisseur. It was still really good regardless. It was priced in the higher end of what you'd expect for something of this quality. That being said, I'm more than likely going to order more pies from this place. I was told on the phone it would take 30-45 mins for my delivery, but it took about an hour and 20 mins to get here, and when it arrived it was warm, but not hot. Not an issue if you scarfed it down immediately, like I did. Also whoever originally took my order was not fluent in English. I had to repeat things multiple times which was a little irritating. He got my address wrong several times, and must've still gotten it wrong the final time because shortly after I hung up, someone else called back to confirm my order/address. Which I really appreciate. If the Za wasn't as good as it was, they could've easily gotten a lower rating on the overall experience, but honestly the pie saved them a star. You should definitely give them a go.

Great lunch specials and very quick and friendly service from order to complete, even though I was only one of three customers at the time I went. Nice double size portion of spaghetti to where I saved half for dinner. Nice size side salad, very fresh and great flavor dressing.
A local Gem tucked in with small business area. People are great. Pizza is really good and price is good. Usually get a gigantic pizza and feeds 5 no problem. It's way larger then most large at the chain pizza places. Pasta is good too. They have table and chairs so you can eat in.

This is a nice little Italian restaurant hidden in a small center. It's a great place for lunch specials. There's many to choose from. The pizzas are very good too. The employees are really nice. They treat you like family.

We have been going here on occasion for many years and the quality of the eggplant, chicken, and pasta is still very good; the garlic bread was not very flavorful which was disappointing as we bought extra garlic bread (the pasta dishes come with some already). We highly recommend this local hole in the wall but maybe don't order extra garlic bread;)

I celebrated my PhD last night in this excellent restaurant. Well we enjoyed a awesome evening and the restaurant was evidently the reason for that happy evening. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Cannolis were the only thing we enjoy. Tiramisu was light and delicious. Doesn't look like much in the window of shopping center but go inside, it's really cozy and friendly!
Service was excellent, prices fair, and food was absolutely delicious! Great lil place to go for a quick lunch or nice dinner. Family owned and operated and you can tell they care about their customers and the food they serve.

Conveniently located right off of Newport on Irvine Boulevard, the well-established Italian Express restaurant offers an extensive Italian menu of pastas, pizzas, salads and deserts. Seating is simple but ample and the prices are reasonable for the portion size you get which is usually just enough to fill you without feeling stuffed. Parking is shared with other stores but they have a couple of dedicated 10 minute pickup spots reserved for those ordering take-out.
I tried this spot before with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I enjoyed the good vibes and tasty food and beverages. I recommend this place.

My son wanted Italian food after his basketball tournament game (that he won) and this one was rated highly. We were very happy with our food: fettuccine chicken Alfredo, angel hair strings with garlic and tomato, spaghetti with marinara, a side of meatballs, a ton of garlic bread and chicken parmesan sandwiches. Delicious! Simple goodness. The marinara sauce was fresh. Good tomatoes. Fresh cut parsley. I was impressed especially with how little it cost for good food.

A little homestyle restaurant serving pasta, pizza, calzones and subs. The Mamamia pasta (home's favorite) has a creamy marinara sauce that is finger licking good. Pizzas are also good with a great variety of toppings to chose from. Friendly staff and good service. Definitely good good for a budget price.
